Bad male narrator!! Thankfully Sebastian York to the rescue on the rest!!

Loved the storyline. Always love Andi Arndt's narrations. Did NOT like the male narrator. Thankfully the rest of the series Sebastian York reads! Power thru this books male narrator cuz the storyline is great and then you don't have to hear his voice on the rest of the series. Love his voice. On to the next :)

Keeping a secret has never been so difficult

Oh how I loved this first book in the Beneath Series by Meghan March. It had intrigue, all the emotions and some off the charts sex. Charlie and Simon are awesome together, but there's all sorts of things in their way.

But these two are meant to be together and where there's a will there's a way... but can they overcome their obstacles? Give a listen and you'll find out.

If Only Charlie was Older

While I really liked Simon (early 30s, ex-military) I thought rich girl Charlie (23) was immature and sometimes too naïve for a New York college grad. However, the writing was excellent, the plot mostly plausible and the New Orleans setting was interesting. Add a really cute dog and a non-violent hero, and I found this book solidly entertaining.

This book is a romantic, erotic love story.

Charlotte (aka Charlie) grew up not needing or wanting for anything. Her life was handed to her on a silver platter but at the cost of others. When her father goes to prison for embezzlement she decides to leave her life behind, leaving in the dust the social light life she was accustom to. She is now under and alias, with a job a a receptionist at a tattoo shop. Even though she ran from her past, when Simon comes in to sweeps her off her feet, she thinks it's time to face her fathers mess.

Simon has found the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with. His father on the other hand wants him to run for office just like him, but Charlie thinks she will stick out like a sore thumb with her tatted skin and changed look. She is not the starlight she use to be and is hiding more secrets thank the FBI which is also looking for her. When lies and secrets come to light who will run and who will stay.

Love the book.

Surprisingly good

I was not sure about this one since it's not my usual genre. In addition to that the negative reviews on the male narrator had me concerned. However, I think he did a fantastic job and sounded very authentic. Overall worth the credit.
