Gabby was what you would call your average seven-year-old girl. Or at least she was average when you first met her. She had a big brother, she loved her mommy and daddy, she hated going to bed, and she definitely hated brushing her hair.

It was always the same every morning. She would put her clothes on and eat breakfast, but she just refused to brush her hair. No matter how much her mommy told her to do it, she didn't want to. She liked her hair being extra bushy and curly in the mornings. She called herself the little lion queen with her big mane.

I found this audiobook to be delightful. I have a niece and nephew, around the same age. They also do not like to brush their hair. I plan to visit them this weekend and plan to listen to it again. This time with them. Hopefully, they will get the point. I will soon see, hopefully their parents will thank me.

Cute & Delightful

Gabi loved her hair full of tangles, like a bushy Animal….

Gabi had never asked to eat fish for dinner before. And milk?
She really wanted to be a lion. But soon no one recognized her.
The author weaves vivid instances where one sentence creates an entire scene, the mastery of storytelling. He’s clearly an artist and architect in forming a structure with strong plot points.
This book delivers. Listen to it!

Would you listen to The Girl Who Wouldn't Brush Her Hair again? Why?

This is a cute little story about a free-spirited girl named Gabby, who refused to brush her hair in the mornings. She loved her hair being curly and bushy and as a consequence she turned to a cat one day! My 7-year old daughter, who recently had her long hair cut, really loved this audio book and we are playing it often before our bedtime. I highly recommend audio book to both boys and girls, it has an important message about hygiene and why it is good to listen to your parents.

Loved the story !

What did you like best about this story?

This is a nice story about cause and its effect. Little girl Gabby refused to listen to her mommy's advice and brush her hair and as a result of that, she got into a trouble. The story's domino effect serves as a cautionary and educational message for children. I think this audio book was great and definitely something little girls can relate too. My daughter loves it and now she brushes her hair much more often :)

What made the experience of listening to The Girl Who Wouldn't Brush Her Hair the most enjoyable?

If you want to persuade your child into washing and brushing their hair this is the book you need. It is great for boys too, and not just girls because it carries an important message about hygiene and it is hilarious good fun. Even though the message seems to have gone right over my daughter's head because now she thinks it would be awesome to become a cat :) My daughter listened to this nice story more than once, and I can highly recommend it!
