I didn't know about this author before but learned later she is quite well know bestseller in Germany. For a good reason.
Realistic crime stories with the right amount of complexity. Great description of characters, well thought through psychologically. Can't wait to hear all her other books!

Ziemlich fesselnd. Das Deutsch war auch klar. Charlotte Links Buecher sind normalelweise sehr gut fuers Deutschlernen.

die geschichte ist recht gut. leider hat die sprecherin mir das buch verdorben. sie ist eine gute schauspielerin aber als sprecherin lässt sie keine unterschiedlichwn figuren erstehen. dafür spricht sie zu monoton. und ihre zeitweise amerikanische aussprache war mir einfach grässlich. besonders spannend fand ich den plot nicht. trotzdem teilweise fesselnd.

The story promised to be good but the Narrator was driving me crazy. She basically whispers the entire time. Whispering can be a good effect but she does not seem to have a voice.
Too bad, but I just couldn’t take it anymore.

This murder story is very dark, but the characters were well developed and believable. Even though the story was in some chapters a bit depressing, it still was a “page turner” and the ending was coming together in a logical way with no loose ends.
