Most definitely. I have listened a few times, whether for pleasure or for trying to make sense of the dynamic between individuals involved in this sort of play, or for both. This stands up to repeated listening quite well.

What other book might you compare DDlg Volume 1: The Best of Daddy Dom and Little Girl Roleplay to and why?

In audio erotica, this would be most like the BDSM set from the same author. In general, though, it reminds me of The Collected Stories of Colette. Each is a little world unto itself, and the power play and actions referenced in the stories are one more way to explore the intimate relationship between two people. There is explicit sex, yes, but there is sweetness, and bitterness, and despair, and hopeful tenderness.

What does The Grey Knight bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I think DD/lg stories as a whole are made to be listened to, not read in print. The dynamic is about giving up control, not keeping it, and not being in charge of the speed, pacing, intonations, and such makes the storyline more powerful. Lying back and listening to a commanding deep voice take control? Nothing else like it, especially for erotica.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Night Light: "I know when my little girl needs me. I know when my little girl needs her Daddy. When he can make everything all better, just like that night light." What a beautiful voice, and what a beautiful sentiment. Makes me smile every time.

Any additional comments?

I'm glad this author has posted sets of stories from different subgenres in audio erotica, because even if DD/lg isn't your cup of tea, you're sure to find something. It's hard to find something more superficially different from this set than, say, "Cowboy Jack," whose trickster stories are a mythos all to themselves. Be sure to check out the other offerings, too.

Um... Just WOW. I snagged this on a whim, and before I even finished it, I went back for volume 2. I do wish that the stories were separated and not just one long track. But the performance and the stories were awesome. Definitely a panty-soaker.
