Very detailed!

It covered a lot of content that I have been curious about! Even the small details were covered.

I really enjoyed the book. I want to convert and this seems to give a good taste of the life of the church. Her willful bad grammar was jarring and made me wary of a lot of what she said. She would be more effective in her feminist propaganda had she used he/she properly.

Great book for those looking into the Orthodox Church!

A great intro to eastern Christianity

A great look into the Orthodox Church. As I continue to learn about new faiths (or in this case, an Old Faith through the eyes of someone who has never looked at it), Mrs. Mathewes-Green does a great job at explaining the core tenets of Eastern Orthodoxy.
