Wanda E. Brunstetter is back with a thrilling six-consecutive-month release of a brand-new Amish serial novel written with her daughter-in-law, Jean Brunstetter. With a story set in Ohio's Holmes County, the Brunstetters introduce a unique Amish family to their fans.

The Prodigal Son Returns

When Joel Byler turned 18, he left his Amish roots. But living the good life out in the world requires money, and he finds himself going back home to ask his wealthy and eccentric father for a cash loan - again. How many times can Joel expect to be welcomed back before his father's patience with him wears thin?

I have loved Ms Brunstetter’s books in the past, and actually really enjoyed the storyline of the six books in this series. However, as a consumer I feel cheated by the SHORTNESS of each book. Audible credits are not cheap, and these books were not worth an entire credit. It is my opinion that the author needs to remember her loyal audience and consider their budgets. I would suggest that she and her daughter in law examine their thought processes in putting out such short “books” which, in my opinion, is disrespectful to their readers.

Disappointed

I like the story line, but just as others wrote, this should of been 1 or 2 credits at most for all 6 books. Unfortunately I will not finish as I was only willing to purchase 1, not 6 individually.

Good but felt cheated

Main man living a life of lies. Ends with a cliff hanger, but don’t want to try next book in series.

Sorry I wasted my time and money. The predictable story is a cliffhanger pushing you to the next book … and the next $8. Shame

A podcast not a novel
