I chose this story because of Nelson Hobbs. His voice is soft and warm. I loved every book he narrated and this one is no exception. He as always, did not disappoint me. I skipped the first book but I felt like I didn’t miss much. If you want background for the main characters, I would listen to the fist book. This author is new to me and it won’t be my last. I highly recommend!

very frustrating story, plain toxic relationship, dysfunctional personalities, wrong interpretation of an independent woman which is really insecure, paranoid and immature and the guy has personality completely indescribable, oblivious, just plain stupid, I can't believe I waisted my credit on that
