Publisher's summary

Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court - but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people. Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court.

As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms - and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future - and the future of a world cleaved in two.

With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas' masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights.

Fantastic

The first book in the series was enjoyable, but this one makes the first look like nothing.

This book is incredible, I've already read it 4 full times, as well as going back to specific chapters to relive it again and again, and it's only been out for two months.

The performance was solid and never once broke immersion.

Overall, I think this might end up being my favorite book, ever. But we'll see when the third one comes out!

Incredible book

It took a little while to really get good, but that wasn't a problem. I so admire Sarah J. Mass, it's been really fun watching her grow as a writer. She's really hit her stride.

That being said, Audible misclassified this book. It IS NOT for 11 to 13-year-olds. There is graphic sex and violence. Whoever decided this was a book was for preteens did not read it.

Better than I could ever imagine.

I read ACOTAR a year or so ago and couldn't wait for ACOMAF. After reading the first few reviews when it came out I have to admit I was really hesitant to start because i couldn't imagine letting go of the feelings from the first book after hearing about the drastic change in relationships. I couldn't have been more wrong. Sarah J. Maas did a perfect job at deconstructing and constructing relationships, everything from ACOTAR just seem to be necessary to get to this, the much bigger picture. Beyond the romance, the friendships are so genuine and the new characters add so much to the story. I didn't love the narrator at first because I felt she was too whispy but that makes total sense now and I love the strength that she portrays in Feyre. I highly recommend this to anyone and can't wait to see what happens next.

Doesn't do Rhys justice.

Does not sound like Rhys AT ALL. He needs to be more subtle and seductive. The reader is too chirpy for him.

intrigue and Magic

A fantastic second book in this series. Enjoyed the twists in the plot, as well as the development of the characters. Much deeper than the first.
