Captain Jake Mercer and the crew of the Phoenix finally escape from Admiral Trajan's relentless pursuit, hoping for some much needed rest and supplies. Jake must enlist the help of a local paramilitary organization to not only regain his ship, but also to fight off the Vikorhov Federation, one of Admiral Trajan's surrogates in the sector.

And all the while Ben's mind is slowly re-written by the picobots, making him not only a danger to his enemies, but to his closest friends.

Awesome!...but waiting on book 4???

It seems like this series has been forgotten! There are more in the series but waiting for book 4 is like waiting for it to rain! Please complete the series...

Great book! The Captain matured and it's ending was very unexpected and appreciated. Looking forward to the next book.

Enjoyed his story line. Seemed more like a chapter than another episode in a saga. I had hoped for more considering the price.

How many people must die for admiral Tragin ?

Many events happen in this book. From losing his exo to his ship. Can spaceships actually go under water and blast back in to space? Awesome narration. Very well written.
