King Of Stage

I was so interested in hearing Bobby Brown's telling his own story after seeing the biopic BET produced a few years ago. Not only was it pretty spot on with the film, there was so much more that happened in his life the film could not have gone over thoroughly.

I really liked the excerpts from his children and his family including Ralph Tresvant from New Edition...read by other speakers. Bobby Brown's reading skills were not the best and he would miss a line or seemed like he was steuggling with a word or two. However after a while he seemed to get the hang of reading that book a little better. His story is harrowing and worth the moment.

Heartbreakingly enjoyable.

Before I bought this I read the reviews complaining about Bobby being the narrator and was worried. I'm here to say that this listener couldn't imagine this being read by anyone else. No one else could tell this story with the emotions and tone of Bobby Brown except Bobby Brown. He made me laugh, he made me cringe and he made me cry. If you're a fan, this is pure Bobby and you will enjoy it from start to finish.
