George is finally getting ready to discuss adoption with his husband. Leon, unfortunately, can take a lot of time to warm up to an idea. Meanwhile, George has been having disturbing dreams of medical procedures on an alien spaceship, and soon after that he starts experiencing strange symptoms. It isn't long before his baffled doctor gives him a diagnosis - George is pregnant!

With the pregnancy comes a whole host of new issues. George must fight to manage both Leon's expectations and those of the doctors. Then there's the puzzling issue of the baby's origin. He's determined to make things work for his growing family, though, because nothing is more precious to him than the bun in his oven.

nice but hard listen

the VA was decent but didn't match the tone of the story which hurt the presentation. I felt like my grandpa was reading too meabout men having babies...

Mixed feelings

This is an interesting romantic spective science fiction. The voice acting of Roy Wells is in its early stages. The separation in characters isn't all the way there.

So these aliens volunteer humans in their procreation experiments. Their species don't have enough males. Okay you got my attention. No I didn't learn that in the blurb. Reading the book brought me that information. Just saying these are to guys in a relationship and one wants a baby. Wasn't enough! So why did I chose the book?

The narrators voice its just a turn off for the the story just doesn't match for me, maybe try a younger narrator

Could use a rewrite, story could have potential. But yeah kinda struggled through it.

A solid story with a HEA.

This was a short book, but Roy Wells did a great job! Will look for more audible books by him.
