From USA Today best-selling author Leslie Langtry comes another Merry Wrath Mystery that will leave you laughing 'til it hurts - scout's honor!

Ex-CIA agent turned suburban scout leader Merry Wrath is just trying to live a normal, quiet life. But all that goes out the window when a convicted traitor (who's inconveniently not in his prison cell) dies on her doorstep, and an obese cat, who bears a disturbing resemblance to Hitler, decides to move in.

To make things worse, it's time for the annual troop cookie sale, her new boyfriend's old college flame shows up to win him back, and someone's shooting at Merry in the frozen foods section of the grocery store. Is the assassin after her or the cat? Is Riley, her hot former CIA handler, hitting on her? Is Rex, her boyfriend, going to dump her? Will she sell enough cookies to take her troop to Winter Sniper Camp? If Merry doesn't find answer to these questions soon, it may be too late!

It took me a few chapters 5o get used to the CIA theme but once I did, loved the story.

Pretty good

The narrator sounds like she is annoyed as she reads the book making the whole book hard to listen to. I love the story but can't get past the narration.

Good story but meh on the narrator

When a super-max escapee dies on her doorstep Merry Wrath gets a new cat. Now the CIA is back and the Girl Scout group are selling cookies. Then the assassin name BOBB shows up. Quirky characters and situations with lots of laughs. Great narration v

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Yes, listening was time well spent because I found a new series with very interesting charaters and a writer who makes me laugh out loud!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Probably the Hitler cat.

How could the performance have been better?

This series needs a narrator who sounds like an adult. This woman sounds like a middle-schooler, which makes it hard to buy her as a former CIA agent.

Was Mint Cookie Murder worth the listening time?

Yes, but it was hard to get past the narrator. The story was well worth it, though.

Any additional comments?

I'll probably buy this series to read on my Kindle, rather than getting any other audio books.

Probably a Great Read, but Listening was Difficult!
