Lauren's senior year is going exactly as planned. Her craft blog is getting more visitors every day, and she knows what she's going to do with her life after graduation: get her associate's degree, marry someone fabulous, and live happily ever after.

Sure, she doesn't know what she's going to get that degree in, .and there's no Prince Charming on the horizon yet. But, still that's the plan.

At least, it is until Harrison Neeley shows up at her kitchen table one evening and derails everything.

Sweet, relaxing story without drama and touch of reality. Still worth it in my opinion.

Sweet teenage romance

You could tell that the narrator had actually read the book. I thought the story was nicely developed. Looking forward to the second book. Hopefully read by same person.

Great story!

this was an enjoyable listen. I liked the narrator. I was pre reading this for my younger teen to make sure that it was appropriate and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. It is a clean book, just some kissing.

I would love to see a happily ever after for Grant in another book (just a subtle hint for the author! ).

very sweet story

Best book I have listened too on Audible. The amount of fluff had my heart exploding, would totally recommend!

This one was absolutely sweet in the old-fashioned teenage romance style — nobody was suicidal, there were no evil villains and there wasn’t any big drama besides the absolutely fundamental question required by definition in a romance novel: “WHEN is it going to HAPPEN?!” The one thing I need my vicarious romance to guarantee me — regardless of whether it’s regency/historical or contemporary, basic time travel beach read or YA LGBTQ mystery thriller — is that crucial HEA. Sometimes it needs lots of side-plots, twists and turns and a hundred minor characters, but if the story is well-paced and the dialogue is decent, sometimes all that extra stuff isn’t needed. Sometimes, like in Glitter and Sparkle, the way we get to the when is perfectly entertaining and diverting enough. *Contented sigh*. ;)
