Dry witted… amusing

Each story had its own unique cadence and characters but the thread connecting them was Mr Bennett’s amusing way of unassumingly telling a tale. I’d love for him to sit by me as he has nothing nice to say about anyone … and a catty friend is just what I needed!

An acquired taste

Wry, strange, and darkly funny, an altogether British set of entertaining stories. That they are autobiographical is astounding in their variety.
