Good Audio

I loved the story for the most part. I had trouble understanding the Male narrator the first half of the book. His accent really thick. I remember most of it from the movie. Then in one of the later chapters about 1/2 through it the chapter started all over again.

A big Jodi Fan

I love everything I've read by Jodi Ellen Malpas so listening to one of her books was a treat! A great stand alone story! Just love the strong men in all her books!!

Victory of the human spirit!

I love Ms Malpas her trilogy's are amazing fun intriguing winding stories from start to finish! I was a bit worried that this would be less because it was a single offering this go around but was so so happy to be wrong. As with the trilogy's this was a strong story from start to finish so much so I didn't want it to end😢 Please keep writing with all the joy your pen can hold! N of course thank you for giving us all a perfect escape🤗

Wonderful listen

I loved the male voice in this book, I wish there were more listens with this male accent. Sorry was wonderful loved it all the way through.

When I read the summary, I expected the usual brooding anti-hero who treats the heroine terribly but, she falls in love anyway. This book was not like that, at all.

The Hero suffers from PTSD and is emotionally scarred by circumstances of his past but, he is in constant emotional growth and he quickly becomes the man he is meant, to be.

I enjoyed the more romantic intimate scenes and the author does a great job of helping the reader/listener experience the emotions along with the characters.

There is only a little bit of angst and it is resolved, quickly.

There are some violent scenes but, they aren’t overly descriptive.

This is a great listen for someone who prefers to cry happy tears!
