Guitar Woman is filled with romance, suspense, and passion, and set in beautiful Greek locations.

Alex Kouros's passions are making exquisite guitars and producing Greece's premier beer. At a prestigious art gallery he meets artist Cassandra Beckham. A whirlwind romance ensues, but is cut short when malicious kidnappers board the yacht they are sailing on in the turquoise waters of the Aegean. As they struggle with the malefactors Alex is shot and Cassie falls into the sea with a blow to her head. They are left for dead, and although they survive they both think the other died.

Alex blames himself and tries to drown his sorrows with his brew. Cassie washes up on a deserted beach of a tiny island.

Will they be destined to find each other again?

What three words best describe Denise Kahn’s performance?

It's love at first sight, this is what you have. A romance leads to trouble on the water, and the two are separated, one not knowing who they are, the other grieving over the "death" of the other. I enjoyed this short novella, getting to know the characters and touring Greece at the same time.

A short listen, this book brought some fun entertainment to a country I would love to visit! Alex and Cassie meet in Greece while Cassie is exhibiting her artwork, and if you can say love at first sight, this is what you have. A whirlwind romance leads to trouble on the water, and the two are separated, one not knowing who they are, the other grieving over the "death" of the other. I really enjoyed this short novella, getting to know the characters and touring Greece. I would have liked to have a little more suspense with the boat scene, giving it a little more bite during the book, but was thoroughly taken with wondering when they would meet again if ever, and would amnesia be cured.

Denise Kahn does an incredible narration, the voices for each are very good and distinguishable. I enjoyed the music interludes between chapters as well(my son is a guitar player, made it all the more fun!)

GUITAR WOMAN was a lovely story filled with passion and compassion. I really liked the way it was presented with sort of acts and music in between. The characters were thoughtful and I think my favorite was the artist that they were viewing in the museum at the beginning and where Cassie ended up after the accident. I liked that they were all artists actually.

The audio had a few issues which I was able to overlook because I loved the story so much. Denise Kahn's a wonderful author and the narration wasn't bad. I look forward to hearing more from her. She has an interesting style.

Audiobook gifted inx for my honest review.
