Enthralling first book.

When she finally realized what she really was.

What about Jeffrey Kafer’s performance did you like?

His narration was steady and clear, and, in my opinion, he was perfect for this book. I'd like to listen to more books Jeffrey has narrated.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, and I did, and I will more than likely listen to it again before book 2 releases in audiobook.

Any additional comments?

The story flowed nicely. It was intense, suspenseful and sweet. And did I forget to say it was hot? OMG! I hate reading spoilers in reviews, so I'm not about to do that. If you want a book that will send you on an emotional rollercoaster, download this one now.

Good story

Good story, I didn't realize I was listening to them out of order since I read the second one first, but I enjoyed the story. It was a good read. Jeffrey Kafer, the narrator, did a great job.

Falling in love with werewolves all over again!

Read ‘Twilight’ series when I was younger. Now I have rediscovered the excitement.
‘By the Light of the Moon’ is a great combo of mystery and exotica.

Cant Get Enough!

A must read series by a great character builder and story teller...Jodi Vaugh's creates the perfect universe to get lost in, especially if you are up for outloud gut busting tear spilling antics from everyone's crazy Granny or at least you'd wish for her to be on the family tree.. shes the spice in life everyone should have.. if you want hot alpha males brought to life by a deep vox that brings spine tingling fantasy to your ears than this narrator is perfect for your next listen.. so what are you waiting for get ready to sink your teeth into the Arkasas Werewolf pak and be prepared to read way past your bedtime because You'll definitely not want to put these books down ... 💜

Entertaining, sexy, funny!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Damon! He's tough with a hard outer shell, but has a soft sweet center. Also imagine him sexy as hell!Second choice was Granny. She was freaking HILARIOUS!!

Which character – as performed by Jeffrey Kafer – was your favorite?

Damon!! Jeffrey Kafer does an incredible job bringing out Damon's personality not only when Damon speaks, but through Kafer's narration. I've never heard someone narrate quite like it and was completely enthralled! Kafer also does a fabulous job with the female characters. Ava was sexy and feminine without being over the top. Granny was hilarious and totally believable.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

lol what an odd question. Ummm Werewolfs do it by the light of the moon... ya I dunno.

I actually listened to the audiobook TWICE!! It was THAT good. I usually listen while at the gym, and busted out laughing on more than one occasion (literally did a spit take with my water bottle one day!). Both Jodi Vaughn and Jeffrey Kafer are now on my "must buy" list. A great, unique story line with interesting characters, hot sex scenes and hilarious moments! Seriously the BEST!

My wolf!!!!!!

This was the first book i have ever read by Jodi Vaughn. It won't be my last. This book as amazing from the beginning to the end. It has it all action , romance, strong heroine. Jeffrey Kafer did a great job with the narration. He is fantastic. I was gifted this book in exchange for a honest review.

Awesome book! i loved the narrative and the narrators voice. i also loved the happy ending with damon and ava getting to be together

Great Series Starter

I got this ARC via audiobook boom. I loved the way this story started. But the plot twist and the way the two main characters joined forces really made the story come alive. the narrator did a good job of moving the story forward. You could hear the emotions as he told the story. After being expelled from his last pact, the hero thought he had finally found a home then just when he was settling in he is sent on assignment alone. You can imagine how he felt. Being kicked out again. But that was not the case. You will have to listen to the story to get the full extent. Can you imagine waking up in a drug induced state and being on a cold cement floor? well imagine no more listen to the story and find out what happens. You won't regret it.

entertaining

My first story from Ms. Vaughn, found it entertaining, with unique twists on the paranormal shifter genre. A good mixture of suspense, action, sweet and some hot moments along with hilarious ones too. Great chemistry between Ava and Damon. Granny is my fave secondary character, would have loved to meet her in real life :D Looking forward to the next story.

Mr. Kafer's voice is easy to listen to, versatile giving each character their own voice and voicing their emotions quite well. I really enjoyed it.
