Although this book is somewhat predictable, the writing and character development were done so well it was easy to stay hooked into the story. Lilly’s character was so complex. Definitely recommend this one!

Narration was outstanding!

Really Good Psychological Suspense

I recently revisited "The Woman in Apartment 49" by Ross Armstrong, expertly narrated by Catherine Steadman. While Steadman's narration was engaging and well-delivered, I struggled to follow the complex and confusing storyline. The plot twists and turns, making it challenging to keep up and connect with the characters. Despite my initial confusion, i may give it another chance in the future. Armstrong's writing has potential, and Steadman’s narration is top-notch.

There are some slow parts, but it's all done to build the realism of the situation. I broke from the story longer than I had others and was worried about being disappointed; I encourage anyone reading this book to get on with it because the last quarter of the book brings it all together nicely, without giving it away, the author is enveloping you in the necessary mindset to truly appreciate what is happening to the main character and it then becomes so so clear.

Great story with a Great finish!!!

The narration was fantastic and I’m glad I listened rather than read, because the story really came to life. I guessed the twists fairly early on, and I won’t spoil anything for you—I will say that my imagination of what might happen next was a bit more twisted than the actual story. All in all a good first novel and worth the time.

The suspense builds until it's conclusion. Solid story that comes together. Not too long or yoo short in length. Enjoyable.
