Truly one of the best

I think we've listed to this 7 or 8 times. It is so great. Cherry Jones is the perfect narrator for this family. Her voice is so earnest and she captures the different personalities of each character. Love everything about this one.

I love the story teller and her wonderful tone and expressions. This is a wonderful story of growing up at a time when one must be creative with resources at hand. I remember reading this as a young girl and now I enjoy it as a grandmother. I will share with the grandkids!
