Nationally renowned forensic pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht and New York Times bestselling author Charles Bosworth, Jr. have written a riveting narrative that exposes the disturbing truth behind the Christmas day murder of six-year-old JonBenet Ramsey. Dr. Wecht's expert analysis of the public record leads to shocking new conclusions divulged here for the first time.

There is evidence that the child beauty queen's death was a tragic accident, not a deliberate murder. Autopsy evidence is consistent with sexual abuse prior to her death, and certain crime scene evidence contradicts the "intruder theory". Was the murder scene compromised?

Discover who Dr. Wecht believes is really responsible for JonBenet's death.

This book was very intriguing and sucked me in by the second chapter. Because the author is a known forensic pathologist, I felt that the book would reflect an accurate assessment of the crime. However, After new evidence has been released regarding this case, I have come to realize that this forensic pathologist has simply written a fictional story in hopes of garnering fame. Regardless, It's a great story.

Fact or fiction???

Excellent book. The cold, hard facts are laid out plain as day. There never was an intruder, the ransom note was a written by someone living in the home and the killer was also someone who lived in the home. They have been lying for nearly 30 years.

I’m an avid reader of true crime books, but I hadn’t thought about the famous JonBenet story in years. I decided to go back to it, to learn more about this unsolved case. This audiobook gave me new information about the case. The thorough autopsy evaluation by Dr. Wecht provided some new insights for me. And I agree with the doctor’s findings that this murder was committed by someone inside the house. The book went into details about John and Patsy’s evasive behavior towards the police, along with other ways they were uncooperative.

Good audiobook on a baffling cold case

No child should have to face death at a young age. Whom ever killed her should have been caught, the police did not do a good job with the evidence and allowed others to trample all over the crime scene

I think that the parents did it.

sad story of murder

This book has a very misleading title. I thought there would be new evidence or possible suspects but I was wrong. This is very repetitive
