Gogol's phantasmagorical tale about a man whose nose decides to abscond and begin living a life of its own is one of the earliest and most celebrated examples of absurdist literature. I’m not sure why this is even on audible: the voice of the narrator is a computer (think Siri, etc). The characters are voiced by people, and the difference is quite jarring.
