One final game of cat and mouse

Ex FBI agent Elliot Mills thought he was done with the most brutal case of his career. The Sculptor, the serial killer he spent years hunting, is finally in jail. But Elliot's hope dies when he learns the murderer wasn't acting alone. Now everyone is at risk once again thanks to a madman determined to finish his partner's gruesome mission.

When the lead agent on the case, Special Agent Tucker Lance, goes missing, Elliot knows it's the killer at work. After all, abducting the love of Elliot's life is the quickest way to hurt him.

The chances of finding Tucker are all but impossible without the help of the Sculptor but the Sculptor is in no position to talk. Critically injured in a prison fight, he lies comatose and dying while the clock ticks down. Elliot has no choice but to play this killer's twisted game and hope he can find Tucker in time.

Story was good but I could have done without the intimate parts. Provide no context to story.

Once again there really isn't anything new I can add to my previous reviews as to how amazing this trilogy is. Sometimes when the reader recalls the whos, whats, and whys it makes it hard to re-visit the mystery but not in the case(pun totally intended😉) of Josh Lanyon's All's Fair trilogy. Tucker and Elliott are just as entertaining both on the personal front as well as occupational. I found the secondary characters to still be just as necessary, none of them are page-fillers, from the one-to-two-scene characters to the in-almost-as-much-as-the-main, they all serve a purpose.

There is two different narrators for the trilogy, Sawyer Allerde reads Fair Game and JF Harding reads Fair Play and Fair Chance. Both voices are perfect for the story and the characters, making for a very enjoyable listen and though I may not re-listen super often, I do look forward to doing so again and I know that I'll be just as intrigued and sucked in on the 100th listen as I was with this first time.

Great Mystery with Delicious Blend of Danger & Rom

This is the last of this 3-book series, and the characters of Elliot and Tucker were vividly brought to life by the performance of J.F. Harding. His smooth baritone is so easy to listen to, and carries the emotional range to make this mystery involving, and satisfying. Josh Lanyon is one of the best authors in the M/M genre, and she treats these two men with empathy and dignity. Her main characters are never just sketches stitched together with sex scenes. They feel real, truly observed, and the sex is a natural part of the arc of their relationship. A loathsome villain makes a reappearance, with new dangers to be faced---and an endearing dog plays a critical role.

Narration enhanced this story

This is one of the rare audiobooks that I have not read previously. I absolutely loved it! The story and mystery gripped me. I felt like I was on the edge of my seat for most of it. The narrator, JF Harding, was amazing as usual.

Josh Lanyon continues to be one of my favorite authors and she never lets me down. This was an awesome conclusion to the All's Fair trilogy!

Amazing!
