I'm Hooked

This is the first book I have listened to of this writer and narrator , Now I go hunting for them and the treasures they bring as they pull you into the book.

First story was great but...

The first story was great. Engaging and characters were easy to identify with. The second story not so much. There was so much left unexplained that I was frustrated with the lack of closure.

decent and intriguing

Some parts predictable and cliche. Second story starts way to similar to the first. Eventually redeems itself. All in all a solid effort

Was good til.....

I was enjoying this book for a bit, but srarting with chapter 56, I was preoccupied until then, I noticed way way to many he said she said. at one point it was so prevalent that it seemed the only word spoken. If all that was fixed the would be a really good book. As it is I had to stop listening.

The narration was really good. The voices used were consistent and it was way to tell characters apart by voice alone.

Both stories are The Mansion Hauntings boxset which I already own and the narrator mispronounces easy words on occasion. However, I still like the books. Easy to listen to and characters are likeable. Long listen worth one credit. I listened to the first three (again) so I guess I'm keeping it.
