Great adaptation of Dan Dare please do another

Great adaptation of Dan Dare classics, the voice actors are well cast, although it’s Dan Dare, Digby steals the show. Wish they did more volumes. Would give 5 stars if the last hour our so wasn’t interviews.

Quality production - fast paced action

I first met Dan Dare as a reader of the 2000AD comics in the Seventies. This radio production goes back to the original 1950s comics to tell a serialized tale. There are few surprises here but the pace is fast and the dry British humor plays well. The cast consists of veteran radio actors who don't disappoint. The script also has been updated to include modern scientific ideas, but it does fell dated. The Flash Gordon cliff-hangers and comic book villains also seem out of place. But in the end, this is a fun adventure and a good sci-fi actioner.
