Romance for Foodies

Love this story. The narration of Taryn’s accent is fantastic and the women are sweet and likable with just enough angst and steam. Even though the characters have a teacher/student relationship, the relationship never seems like it’s dominated by either character. The women have an equal partnership and they both respect each other’s feelings as their lust and love grow. I’ve listened to this a few times. Sweet feel good romances are my favorites and this one does not disappoint.

Would you consider the audio edition of Taste to be better than the print version?

The audio is really good, but the book is better.

What other book might you compare Taste to and why?

There aren't too many writers in the genre who write in first person present tense so I can't really compare this book to others. It's a sweet, contemporary romance that's light, yet full of chemistry. Steamy, sexy, and fun.

What does Brittni Pope bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Great accents.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Very funny, emotional and made me cry in a good way.

As usual, Ms. Bryant offers us a very tasty love story filled with a number of important issues, such as being a good mother, and especially the discrimination in educational institutions and in the work place.
But this is a lovely simmering and passionate tale of two smart and talented women who find a way to make delicious lemonade flavored with love and commitment.

This is a great read and a beautiful love story, however, you will grow hungry if you do not take the time for a snack before endulge your romance fix.

Kris Bryant writes excellent lesbian romance books. I love her hot sex scenes that leaves you the reader panting too. 😍 WOW! I enjoyed the characters and the story and can’t wait to read or listen to another one of her books! Brittni Pope did a great job narrating, but the recording was a little unclear at times.
