One Dark Throne is the second book in the series about Queens fated to kill one another. It is action packed with twists and turns. The buildup from book one is well oayed off in these chapters and the back stories start to fall into place. It was an effortless listen and kept my attention throughout. Very happy with the plot and character developments so far. If you were hesitant because the first boom is a slow start, rest assured that this one is not. I look forward to the rest of this series.

I am totally taken in by this series. I have to know how it ends and I'm sure it's not going to be the way I expect because I have been continuously surprised. The ending made me upset but it's actually refreshing to not have everything go perfectly like you want it to. This series makes me think of a Game of Thrones for young adults.
