Warm and Funny

I needed a laugh this week, and this book was just the ticket! It's been awhile since I read the last Matilda book, so I was pleasantly reminded about Crixus, Liam, and the way everything turned out. Jackson has done a wonderful job narrating this series, and it was good to hear her talented voice bring back all of my old favorite characters, plus a couple of new ones!

A very laugh out loud book.

This book is creative and will make you laugh out loud. I started laughing and could not stop. Well written and highly recommended to everyone who loves mythology and laughing.

now I want all the prior books. and the ones to come. I live mythology and bringing demigods, muses, and god's to the modern world in a well written style? more please

Think Looney Tunes arms race styled romance

Because these were supernatural beings, the fight flirting was extreme, as in she chops him up, sending him to Hell, where he reincorporates and goes after her again. It was silly, but kind of off when combined with the hate sex and nasty digs.
