So so

The story wasn’t bad but the narration left a lot to desired and actually detracted from the story itself. The narrator needs more practice with the voices she uses. The worst part about this was there is a weird resonance to it. Almost like she recorded it in a bathroom or something instead of a studio. Really wished it had a better narration.

great story

What a fun and sexy read. Layla gets the lucky honor of not only one hot guy but his twin as well. Who wouldn't enjoy that?! Terry Towers is a new author to me but my goodness I'll be back. I just have to get some replacement panties since this book ruined my favorite pair.

The Brothers Next Door

I received this audiobook I exchange for a review. This was my first book of this type (MFM). I found the story it self to be good, building on the relationship with the brothers. Since it seems the arrangement was going to be made permanent I would like to know what happens with their futures, how they manage ‘public’ life/relationships since they are both police officers. I do have to say that I almost stopped listening to the book because of the narrator, whose voice, reading I found irritating. But I agreed to a review so I stuck with it. I’m glad I did, as I enjoyed the story.

Twins!

The writer did a pretty good job writing this MFM. I really like the idea of twins. Although many parts of the story were easily anticipate. It isn't the most realistic story, but the characters were likeable and relatable. Overall, I enjoyed this quick steamy listen and loved the twin aspect of the story.

I'm not wholly convinced that this narrator was the best fit for this story. I kept having the thought that her voice would be better for a different genre like a mystery or thriller from a female point of view, or a female character who is at least 45 years old. Her voice almost seemed too deep or perhaps even too old to play Layla. Now, she did a really good job distinguishing voices between characters; so much so that I actually double checked to see if there were two narrators instead of one. Overall, this narrator did a really good job staying consistent and putting a good amount of emotion into her voice at the appropriate times.

A great story, just not the narration

I absolutely loved the story! It is an amazing love affair. That being said, the narrator was not even close to giving the script the love it needed. I will have to find the ebook and read it.

I would love the author to release other stories, just with a different narrator.
