Just the facts

I was expecting something more thought provoking and maybe highlights of lessons learned or implications for the future, but really what this is is a data packed review of historical events. I liked it, but it wasn't nearly as interesting as I hoped. The narrator is pretty weak in my opinion. She sounds like one of those automated voices on the phone. She seems to accent the wrong words making her sound like he's not paying attention to what she's reading.

Great Summary of World History

The reader and author gave a thoughtful version of the multiple topics of history. This is the abbreviate version so the details are available on other longer versions of World History. I really liked the context of each country's leadership and time periods which helped me understand the various aspects of their decisions.

I'm impressed with this audible

I didn't have any idea how to earn money from stocks until I listen to this book. It has caught my ears that I just couldn't stop listening till the end. Thanks to the author.

Truly a fine book

The best thing of all about this book is that it is a true synthesis, placing the events of the past two and a half centuries against a backdrop of control and chaos, isolation and often forced opening up. Highly recommended as a foundation text for World history since the earliest times.

Educational

This is an educational book indeed. I found this very helpful on gathering hidden facts of the history. This also included the real happenings during World War II. This is super exciting.
