Philip expands the world to cosmic levels (pun intended) but also delves into the tragic past, as both intersect in the second book of the Railhead Trilogy. While we did not spend too much time with the Aliens, i think it was enough to offer a glimpse into what the humans were missing. I would not have minded some extra hours exploring the Web of Worlds, but alas, plot has to happen and stuff needs to get done.
Looking forward to the Conclusion!
