Nice end of Summer Story

Wonderful story but the ending felt a little too tidy. Narration was very well done.

Just What I Needed

Quick summer read- lots of family angst, bad decisions, summer love, sisters, moms and relationships abound. All kind of messy and believable. Best of all, the ending was satisfying for the story told.

Such a sweet story

As someone who spent summers at the lake with my extended family, it was so easy to relate to these characters. It was a well written and well performed audio book.

Mixed Reaction

The storyline of the ex-convict employee entering into a romantic relationship with her male boss without protections/boundaries was deeply disturbing. On what planet is this OK?
The storyline of the familial relationships among the women was wonderful, and almost redeems this book.
