From theNew York Times bestselling author of Archer’s Voice comes a slow burn, grumpy sunshine romance about finding the courage to move forward when the past has torn you apart, perfect for fans of Colleen Hoover and Lucy Score.

Crystal learned long ago that love brings only pain. Feeling nothing at all is far better than being hurt again. She guards her wounded heart behind a hard exterior and carries within her a deep mistrust of men, who, in her experience, have only ever used and taken.

Then Gabriel Dalton walks into her life. Despite the terrible darkness of his past, there's an undeniable goodness in him. And even though she knows the cost, Crystal finds herself drawn to Gabriel. His quiet strength is wearing down her defenses and his gentle patience is causing her to question everything she thought she knew.

Crystal and Gabriel never imagined that the world, which had stolen everything from them, would bring them a deep love like this. Except fate will only take them so far, and now the choice is theirs: Harden their hearts once again or find the courage to shed their painful pasts.

Critic reviews

"5 stars!!! Read this book, guys!! Archer's Voice was one of the most heartwarming and uniquely beautiful stories I have ever read. Mia Sheridan's ability to convey strong emotions and vivid imagery through her writing is absolutely captivating. This was a gorgeous tale of survival and the healing power of love. I strongly encourage everyone to read it!! Without a doubt, it is now one of my top favorite books!"—Aestas Book Blog
"5 stars! Flawlessly and poignantly written, Bree and Archer's heart-wrenching but truly beautiful love story touched my heart in so many exquisite ways, I felt ruined at the end of it... In a world that celebrates 'bad boys' and their antics, Archer Hale stands as a God among men."—Natasha is a Book Junkie on Archer's Voice
"5 stars! Best book of the year...From silly sweetness to intense hurt and jealousy to sorrow and heartache (and not necessarily in that order), this story has it all. And this author does it right!"—Maryse's Book Blog on Archer's Voice
"Mia Sheridan is, without a doubt, one of the most talented authors I've ever read. Her stories are unique, her writing is beautiful, and I've loved every single book she's written. Grayson's Vow was no exception."—Aestas Book Blog

Kind of predictable, but a sweet story. A little twist towards the end, but the book finishes the way you think it will. And the way you want it to…

Such a beautiful story of healing and love. The narrators did a perfect job with this story. Can’t recommend this book enough.

Well developed plot with interesting characters. Gabriel’s plot arc is a little unrealistic. 6 years in captivity would leave long term damage not so easily repaired. But I’ll accept it as Literary License.
Ultimately, it’s the story of damaged characters finding their way to recovery and self love.
Narration worked well for these characters.

Heartwarming Tale of Survival
