Intriguing to Mundane

**Trigger Warning**

The first part actually grabbed my attention, the pacing was great, and I was almost on the edge of my seat in anticipation for the big reveal/show down.

Then came part 2.

I haven't finished because I found myself constantly questioning why these chapters were necessary. Rape and pedophilia don't make a story scarier, just uncomfortable.

Good Read

A good overall story. Not his best but still very good. Glad to recommend book.

Really creepy! A good read, but not the best end.

I'm an avid horror fan, and this is really, really creepy. It's not often a book keeps me up at night, but this one definitely did! A fantastistic writer, Little really got me immersed into the world of this book, and the narrator was great.

The only disappointment for me was the end, but this could just be personal preference. The ending gets very overly supernatural (monsters and loads of ghosts) and unfortunately for me that was when it stopped being scary, as the mystery was really lost.

Freaking awesome!!

Holy moly this book was amazing. Very good read, entertaining from the start and kept me interested all the way to the end.

My second Bentley Little book

I first listened to The Influence which made me decide to try The Handyman. I'm done with Bentley Little. The books followed the exact same formula which made it less than interesting. Plus, at the end when they are in Frank's house it was needlessly long and descriptive as he wanders from room to room.
If this is your first Bentley Little novel I think you will enjoy it.
