A chilling exposé of corporate corruption and government cover-ups, this account of a nationwide child-trafficking and pedophilia ring in the United States tells a sordid tale of corruption in high places. The scandal originally surfaced during an investigation into Omaha, Nebraska's failed Franklin Federal Credit Union that went beyond the Midwest, ultimately to Washington, DC. Implicating businessmen, senators, major media corporations, the CIA, and even the venerable Boys Town organization, this extensively researched report includes firsthand interviews with key witnesses and explores a controversy that has received scant media attention.

Loved hearing the author's words in his own words. Hard hitting facts and tough material but worth the listen.

This book helped me to understand why the government often doesn’t act in the interest of its people. It sheds light on how those who are drunk on power and profit will do anything they can to maintain what they have even at the expense of abusing children. It tell a dark truth about about the hidden hands that govern decision and it offers an explanation as to why our institutions are compromised when it comes to protecting children. It is a must read for those who seek to understand why so many bad decisions are made thus leaving our society vulnerable on many levels. This is a must read for those who seek to understand how governments and institutions work or fail to work. It is written in a way that offers real insight to the reader.

The Franklin Scandal is explosive and powerful

you can't have a functi9ning healthy society if you neglect and ignore a child's plea for help.

Sad , heartbreaking, I pray for the children.

Thought provoking and tragic. Found myself going back and forth as to the credibility of many of the characters. It was a bit rambling at times, but overall cohesive. Put into overall historical perspective, as crazy as all this is, it’s not entirely unbelievable. And that’s what’s scary.

Worth a Listen

I enjoyed this, and I have been recommending it to my friends and family. I lived in Nebraska for nearly 29 years and have even visited boys town not knowing about this until the author was a guest on "Matt and Shane's secret podcast".

Eye opening, I feel very different now.
