Seems like a stretch.

It seems as if the author was bending over backwards to make the reign of Ahab and Jezebel correspond to "reign" of Bill and Hillary Clinton.
I am an Evangelical Christian and even for me, this was a stretch.

One may not understand the importance of this book until you get further into it. Be patient. It shows it's worth as one realizes the prophetic message revealed and how it is completely in line with today's politics. Amazing!
