Character development

I loved the rescuing by the females the most. It shows women are also brave and would risk everything for their soul mate

never wrong with a Highlander

story was so good. I enjoyed the conflict in Reid when he discovers exactly who his ward is. He is handsome, kind, and struggles to come to terms with her.
The narrator did a wonderful job with the reading of the story.

Loved the book. Couldn’t stop reading it. The narrator was also very good. Hated or it to end!

Sucked me in and kept me on the edge of my seat! So much action and plot twists! You won’t be disappointed!!!

Quit in the 14th chapter

That’s it. I am so sick of these mindless twits that allow men to completely control them mind body and soul. I am sure there were real strong women in those days but to take you to this men are the be all that ends all is now becoming disgusting that I can’t believe I paid good money for. When I read a romance novel or listen to it I would like the playing field on more of a common ground. It’s a novel, fiction so you can create anything you want. This weak cowering idiot went from being under her father thumb to losing him in death only to be taken over by a total stranger that now rules her every move. Her father is still warm in his grave and he’s parading her around looking for a freaking husband because she does not own her life. Gimme a break. It’s really too bad because I very much like Amy’s writings and the narrator does a very good job. I like a much stronger female character that actually has brain cells not some stupid perfect trophy that sits barks eats sleeps at his command.
