Ryan Green explains how the thrill of hacking and being considered “elite” prompted him to hijack 77,000 computers at once. And a look into how the adolescent brain’s hunger for the “feel good” chemical, dopamine, drives young people to push boundaries and take risks.©2018 Audible Originals, LLC (P)2018 Audible Originals, LLC Social Sciences

This was an interesting episode. Not as good as the original, but interesting still. I would never believe someone from the backwoods country would create a large network of hackers. The story with the Microsoft computers was amusing, and at the same time scary to hear how someone so young can cause so much damage, without spending a lot of money.

This podcast has an interesting angle: investigating what leads young people to make bad decisions, but anyone remotely interested in psychology will find it fascinating. It goes through a series of extraordinary situations young adults get themselves into, and takes a hard look at the "why" behind their choices. Sometimes dipping into brain chemistry and the development of the young mind, othertimes focusing on circumstantial aspects, it's an engaging listen. Looking forward to the next episode.
