Loose relationship boundaries?

I am not opposed to this genre of romance in general and have only listed to a few Authors.
But the wife & I wonder if the Amish don’t have guidelines & physical boundaries that they teach?
Is it just like so many churches that kind of wing it when teaching young about dating?

This isn’t just us and our church groups, other authors have pointed out that physical intimacy is a tinderbox, the great feelings can cloud your judgement.

I like longer or even continuations of books and series so the short stories were not for me. but they were good storkex
