Profoundly insightful

This book draws incredible insight from history, philosophy, biology, logic, and biblical application in order to discern the current cultural confusion about our bodies. Pearcey not only clarifies the confusion about gender that is infiltrating society, but she also clarifies the larger confusion that has tried to separate our mind from our bodies in actions such as abortion and eating disorders. Furthermore, the author explains the problem of how our culture got to this point and then brilliantly provides the solution by understanding the incarnation, crucifixion, and resurrection of Christ.

OUT OF THE PARK!!!

Nancy R. Pearcey hits this one OUT OF THE PARK. This gal, who started out with an attitude against Christianity as taught in her childhood, came in contact with Francis Schaeffer and her life changed. Many of us had similar experiences with Schaeffer and his writing. My two sons and I went to L'ABri and had similar experiences. I have never underlined a book more than this one. One taste of this gal's incredibly clear writing will lead you to grab her other volumes. Dr. Angus McDonald

Worth the Read for both Progressive and Conserving people

The strength of this book was it’s coherent, well-crafted, and thoughtful logical arguments. Also, the compassion of the author came through clearly, delivering hope.

The weakness was assuming there only one viable biblical interpretive method and occasionally ignoring the entire nuance of scripture when making a “biblical” argument.

What an eye opener. Thank God for Nancy Percy’s thorough investigation of the facts and being able to biblically counter these false arguments and expose secret agendas of groups in society that are intent on dismantling the family and our Creator.
