this book was amazing. the writing was so good and engaging, I actually felt like I was part of the book. the performance was also amazing. I actually felt for this little boy and cried at the end! but, it was a good kind of cry!

Scary and sad, but oh so true.

I enjoyed the story but at times it was difficult to listen to because it was very scary. The descriptions of the abuse that the young boy was subjected to was quite disturbing. Well narrated.

Very Intriguing

loved the story, loved the characters, the author has a way of pulling you into wanting more. Awesome reader, did great job on all the voices. Could not quite listening. Worth the time to listen and enjoy.

I’m so glad I kept going

Some stories are too hard to listen. I thought this was going to be one of those in the opening. I’m so glad that I kept going. After that initial hesitation, I couldn’t stop and finished in a 24 hour period. This is a great story of goodness, strength and survival, mixed in with some harsh realities.

A pleasant story

A pleasant story that kept my interest. However It was very predictable and the narration was child like.
