I don't like to be touched. I'm the hacker-geek-goddess of the FBI. When I'm hiding behind my screen, I'm a safe distance from everyone; isolated, powerful. No man has ever touched me, but when I'm captured by Colombian drug lord Andrés Moreno, I no longer have the right to refuse. He's scarred and scary, and his cruel brother Cristian has tasked him with breaking me. I try to fight, but I can't escape his strong arms and harsh discipline. He demands that I accept his touch, and my virgin body can't help but respond to his masterful manipulations.

The longer I remain trapped with him, the more I come to suspect that I'm not the only captive in his brother's home. Andrés' scars go deeper than the wicked furrows carved into his flesh, his pain reflected in the dark demands he imposes upon me. His obsession is twisted and wrong, but maybe I'm twisted, too.

Do I want to be rescued from him? Or is he the one who truly needs saving?

Be aware that Joe Arden doesn't narrate in this book, but in the follow up, telling the same story from his POV. Both books are worth the time. Subject matter is not for everyone, but the overall story and performances were great. I couldn't stop listening until I completed both the books in less than 2 days.

Freaky Good!!

Just as the title says, I couldn’t feel the connection between these two. Sure they had sexual chemistry, but it made me think it’s only because he broke her sexual barriers. Her being an FBI agent wasn’t believable either, she seemed too meek and timid for such a tough job. Half the time I was rolling my eyes at her. Idk, this one missed the mark for me...

Didn’t feel the connection

Loved this book and all the dark twists and turns in it. I even cried when he finally spoke the words "te amo"❤

Hot and powerful❤

The leading lady Samantha was captured by a drug lord. Sure that he would kill her, or more likely drug her, she fought him tooth and nail. By and by Samantha realized that neither would he kill her nor give the her th drug bliss. The ending is typical romance: the guy gets th girl and they live happily ever after.

Erotica from the other side.

“Sweet Captivity” could have been really good. An incompetent female FBI field agent gets abducted by the male brothers who lead the Columbian drug cartel she is investigating.

The problem is that the kidnapping and captivity part of the book was rather long and detailed (with plenty of sex); however, the really interesting part — rescuing trafficking victims, taking down the perpetrators, and getting a certain person out — began and wrapped up in the last 40 minutes. It’s really too bad.

The resolution part could have been action-packed, suspenseful, and carried half of the 8-hr book. That would have been much more entertaining.

The Best Part Wrapped Up Too Quickly
