Born in flame and flood, the newly born community of Atlantis has begun to rebuild from being forced from their homes by the Demonic hordes. For Elanthielle however, the war is still out there. Plagued by dreams that may mean more than they seem - as well as her own burning urge to strike back at the demons that took everything from her - Elan becomes convinced that something vital is about to happen to alter the course of humanity’s fate; something far deadlier than anything Earth has faced thus far.

As the demons prepare their endgame, and Elan sets herself against a demon horde of immeasurable strength, higher powers are watching...and with all else now lost, the watchers make a play of their own.

From the Devil’s Triangle to the Demon Sea, the war for Earth has just begun.

Evan Currie has a fabulous imagination. His talent for world building— whether sci-fi or fantasy— is exceptional. The settings and characters are vividly portrayed and his action and battle sequences are thrilling. I’m sure we’ll remember them for years to come. I’d rate this a four and a half if it were possible, leaving a half star’s room for putting his space series (On Warrior’s Wings and Odyssey) at a perfect five. Sadly, after the sequel to this book we’ve read almost everything Currie has written. We’ve never been been disappointed with any of his books and recommend all of them wholeheartedly. I think they would appeal to a wide range of readers, since my husband’s taste and mine differ quite a bit, but we both really enjoyed all Currie’s work. Give him a try; you won’t be disappointed!

The reader for this series (Cassandra Campbell) does a wonderful job on the characters, both male and female, making this series all the more entertaining. Her villainess in this story I is particularly delicious! Bravo! We will definitely seek out other audiobooks read by her.

Currie continues to impress us with his marvelous world building.

Excellent continuation of Book 1. Not what I would consider to be a deep or thought provoking story, the story moves forward briskly, personalities develop and entertaining new characters are introduced.

Cassandra Campbell's narration is superb. While this story line is very good, I get the impression that she could read a Latin funeral dirge and somehow make it feel like a gripping story. The voices and inflections realistic, emotional and entertaining. No surprise that she is the narrator of choice for so many authors.

Excellent Continuation
