Grand Rapids

Wednesday gets Grand Rapids right. Her descriptions resonated with my own memories even though I grew up in a Dutch Reformed neighborhood in the 50s. Being an outsider in a town proud of its sameness grew my own uniqueness. My mid-century modern architect father was responsible for many of those churches. Fun read!
