Very good book, some holes but very good

So, here is my dilemma. I have listen to the first three books, and I loved the first two. You do have to buy the 3rd and 4th books, (the first two are free with the audible package). The first two books have a lot of romance, they've got a great storyline leading up to a strong connection with the characters, and it makes you really anticipating the third book. However; in the third book be advised that the main character is kidnapped and has little to no interaction with the pack. This book however was really good. The narration was great. There are a lot of times that you kind of question the main character. She was abandoned by her parents, abused as a child, raped, warned throughout her young adult life not to trust anybody, then her aunt (whom she's lived with for a good portion of her life) is brutally killed. However she meets some stranger and completely trusts him at first sight. Enough so that she agrees to go with him to meet a bunch of men she doesn't know a thing about, but agrees to stop at her house and take a shower while he's there and to get primped up for this meeting... There were quite a few events that could have been written a little better, a little bit more believable.

Loved it

This book has been on my wishlist forever and now I am kicking myself for it. I absolutely loved this story and the narration. Cannot wait to start book 2!

So Nasally!!!!

WOW! The narrator has an extremely nasally voice. It drove me crazy. the blood and story were good, I just wish I would not have bought the audio version.

Couldn't put it down

This was a surprise! The story and narrator are both great! I enjoyed every minute of it.

Warning book 4 is not the last book in the series

I titled a warning because I started this series thinking the last book is book 4 but after reading reviews it is not. I hate when I start an audible series to realize the entire series is not available on audible. So I love RH and the connection of the bond within the group is very important. That said the build up of the connection between the characters in the first book is pretty good. A little long winded and slow and no steam. Not even a hand hold or kiss. I enjoyed this first book but felt it dragged out at times and I also prefer a little more steam
