Joan’s story telling

It was very enjoyable . It was not gruesome and it was told in good order. Author stayed focus to the story and all characters were described well.

The twists. The characters were fun and believable

I enjoyed the accents and the relationship between the servants. An enjoyable period piece. The story flowed easily.

engaging and unexpected

Appreciated the unexpected ending. The reading really put the story in context. Took me back to visits to English manor houses, the societal caste system at the time well illustrated.
