When Kinley Chandler abruptly lands in medieval Scotland, there isn’t much she’s leaving behind. With her body shattered and her military career over, Kinley has resigned herself to death. But in the past, all that changes.

Lachlan McDonnel, the laird of a clan of immortal highlanders, can hardly believe his good fortune. Not only does the mysterious lass save his life, she awakens his heart in a way he’d thought no longer possible.

But the druid spells that allow Lachlan’s clan to live forever have a dark side as well. He and his men know all too well that the magic folk never give without taking. Though he is sworn to protect them from the dreaded undead, the price of his loyalty may finally be too high.

Lachlan is the first audiobook in the Immortal Highlander series. If you love brawny heroes, a mystical world, and a heroine with courage, then you’ll love this sizzling series. Join the romantic realm of the Immortal Highlanders by picking up this audiobook today.

I would love to spend some time waking around their clan castle, listening, watching, being kindley maybe.

I am upset that the narrator, William MacLeod isn't on ANY OTHER AUDIO. I just love his voice, he gives so much emotion tho each character. And may i say very sexy highlander accent that just fits and doesn't go t o heavy. This book is awesome.

A perfect time travel romance!

Cool Twist on Time Travel Romance

I have deliberated over how I was going to write this review. Part of the story I really enjoyed, and parts not at all. I enjoyed the romance and the time travel aspect, and the background of Kinnely. I did not care for the undead Roman soldiers and how they treated the women and children. Rape and abuse do not belong in romance books. Part of the storyline was very gripping, and part of it was difficult to follow or listen to. The narrator, William MacLeod did a great performance and brought realistic emotions to the listen. Another part of the my difficulty with the story was how Kinnely traveled from present day San Diego to medieval Isle of Skye, as those places do not show any real link. I had requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review,

Not what I expected!
