"I want you to do something with the place. Something epic."

After being entrusted with her brother's Los Angeles apartment for the summer as a graduation gift, Emi Price isn't sure how to fulfill his one condition: that something great take place there while he's gone. Emi may be a talented young production designer, already beginning to thrive in the competitive film industry, but she still feels like an average teen, floundering when it comes to romance.

But when she and her best friend, Charlotte, discover a mysterious letter at the estate sale of a Hollywood film legend, Emi must move beyond the walls of her carefully crafted world to chase down the loose ends of a movie icon’s hidden life, leading her to uncover a decades’ old secret and the potential for something truly epic: love.

Great book and lead character development. A must for this genre. Audiobook experienced, will read the book.

it was a lovely story.. the book is written sort of like a script? "she said, I said" - it was slightly annoying since it made the dialogue not as fluent.. but I did enjoy it nonetheless

Emi and her best friend Charlotte are housesitting for the summer while working as production interns on a movie set. A mystery letter sets the young women on a journey that ends with Ava, a deceased movie star’s secret granddaughter. Abandoned and homeless, Ava attracts Emi’s attention but complications arise.

EVERYTHING LEADS TO YOU reminded me why I love Nina LaCour’s books so much, flawed characters on emotional journeys. Everyone needs a champion like Emi and a best friend like Charlotte. LaCour’s beautiful writing flows beautifully from page to page because I cared about Emi, Charlotte and Ava. Plot-wise, the story was somewhat contrived and predictable, which wasn’t an issue for me because EVERYTHING LEADS TO YOU is character, not plot, centric.

EVERYTHING LEADS TO YOU is better the the blurb and a heartfelt story.

This book was so beautiful and wonderfully written. I have never used audible before, but the way that the narrator reads it is incomparable. Her voice has emotion and you feel more like she’s telling you this story about her life rather than reading a book to you. This book, whether you listen to it or read it yourself, is absolutely perfect.

Amazing

It was an ok read. It was a little cliche. The ending fit the story.
