Leopard shifter Sasha Weisberg arrives in Nocturne Falls hoping someone in the town of supernaturals might be able to undo the spell an angry ex-friend put on her. Otherwise, she’s doomed to live most of every day as a bird, with only three precious hours each day to enjoy her human form and her snow leopard not at all.

An archangel friend convinces Kianso Kane to travel to Nocturne Falls for a weekend of rest and relaxation. From the onset of the trip, his shaman calling challenged him to return to his Hawaiian roots and acknowledge his shaman birthright. His instincts led him right to Sasha and he knew straightaway she was his true love. But she was caught in a maelstrom of a witch's curse. And until she was free, she couldn’t be completely his.

They have one chance on Samhain to undo the curse, or else her next chance won’t be for 19 years. Can she trust Kianso and his visions?

A fun filled story filled with mystery lots of love a great small read Loved it

I did not like the first book written by this author in this series but this one was so much better. I enjoyed the entire story.

4.5 Stars, Pleasant Addition to the NF World

This is a nice short & sweet addition to the NF world. Of course the insta-love is a little too quick, and the resolution in the end is a little too easy, but it's a very short story. Nice glimpses into some of the OG characters of the real NF stories and we get a happily ever after for this new couple. Their lives connected at the perfect time for what they were both dealing with. Cool this episode gets to occur on actual Halloween one of the days even though more descriptions of the town deco and staff would have been appreciated haha.

I Loved this Story <3

This story is light and fun to read, yet filled with meaning and intensity at the same time. The character of Kianso was so intriguing to me. Learning about Kianso as a Shaman was the most interesting part. The light part of the story with Sasha's curse and all it brought to her was a nice break from a lot of the stories in the NFU where someone was out to get them, the threats, the mystery, the chase, the capture etc... I do love all of the rest but this was just a fun, interesting and easy listen. I hope to hear more with Kianso in other books!
