Keeps going strong

If you liked the first book you'll like this one as well. Lots of fast paced action, beautiful superheroes and an interesting writing style. Soundbooth theater did an excellent narration as usual.

Conflicted

I really struggled with the beginning of the book. MC kept making the same mistakes and way too weak. The last part of the book grabbed my attention and left me hopeful for book 3. Please let him have awesome power and not just be coddled by his women!

Nearly as complete knockout as the first

It's best to refer to my review of the first book.

This book did not disappoint. I did give the story four stars, instead of five, but only because I felt like there was lull in one part and the sexual undertones grew a little out of proportion in this book (as relative to the first). I only slightly fault the author, but the way he keeps paralleling the MC and himself as the author is outstanding. I'm not sure what you call it. Fourth wall? Third and a half wall? I don't know but whatever it is, I laugh out loud each time or find myself smiling and nodding at the acknowledgment.

Also, the hilarious combinations of super stores of the future are great. (Slight spoiler alert) Wendy's Hut is my favorite so far.

If you liked the first, you'll love this one. Keep on reading, don't stop now. I will likely be getting the third one as well, just as long as the final chapter doesn't turn into a kinky, fetish-laden orgy or something. And even still, I'll probably still forgive and listen on haha.

fun times

I have come to realize that I rather enjoy hearing this series. I really enjoy listening to the soundbooth studios doing this and don't think I could read the books do to the lack of hearing the team. So I will be looking for the next one.

New intrigue, more action and a new girl

This is book two in the series and it stands pretty well on its own. You would be missing some of the background, but can pick up the essentials pretty quickly, so feel free to jump in at any time.

Our hero and heroines are still looking for answers and trying to thwart the evil group conducting human experiments. Along the way, they meet new enemies and get a new recruit.

The story has a lot of super-powered action as well as some steamy scenes, both of which are very entertaining and fit well with the story. This is a LitRPG story, so you also get some game stats, but not so many as to detract from the story. The story has some good twists and turns to keep you guessing, but is engaging enough to keep you riveted to the story. You also get a full cast of actors and actresses to narrate the story, which helps bring the entire thing to life. Very entertaining and highly recommended.
