I loved the character- Everett. Shows a positive side of a black man doing right by his family. Recommend the audible version. His voice is butter.

I read this story on Kindle and enjoyed it so I thought I’d give the audiobook a try. Surprise! I enjoyed the audio version more! The narrators were really good—especially “Everett”—who seamlessly went from character to character.
The story line is charming with some nice plot twists. I would recommend this story. I would even listen again!
